CleanSite Stealth is a lightweight WordPress white-label and fingerprint-control plugin created by Sudeep S / Sangamam Communications Pvt Ltd.
It does not modify WordPress core.
Features
- Remove the WordPress generator fingerprint.
- Remove common asset version query strings.
- Remove selected RSD, WLW, shortlink and REST discovery tags.
- Disable XML-RPC when it is not required.
- Protect public WordPress user REST endpoints.
- Use a custom login URL.
- Return 404 for common default login/admin entry points while custom login is enabled and the visitor is logged out.
- Responsive administration interface.
- Local-only configuration; no license server or telemetry.
Important
No plugin can guarantee that WordPress is impossible to identify. CleanSite Stealth is designed to reduce common, obvious fingerprints.
Before disabling XML-RPC or the WordPress sitemap, make sure your site does not rely on them.
If you enable a custom login URL, bookmark the new URL before logging out.
Privacy
CleanSite Stealth does not send website content, visitor analytics, tracking data, or telemetry to an external service.
Plugin configuration is stored locally in the WordPress database.
