  • Enable/Disable at the system or product level
  • Enter separate values or a value range for prices

  • Compatible with all WPClever plugins, major WooCommerce plugins, and WP themes
  • Suitable for simple products, variable products and all product types created by WPClever plugins
  • WPML integration for building multilingual sites

WPC Name Your Price provides two types of pricing choice: enter a number in the box within/without min & max prices. Users can also define the steps for pricing in the corresponding box. By default, if you leave min/max/step box blank or enter 0 value, then these options will be disabled.

Notably, decimal values are acceptable for Select type. So if you’d like to set decimal prices like $2.50, $3.75, $12.95, etc., this is the right choice. As for this type, users should enter a price value on each line or use a price range to create predefined prices. With this, sellers can easily take control of the price while still offering customers the freedom to choose a favorite price value. This is the most remarkable feature of WPC Name Your Price, which is unavailable to any other plugins of similar kinds.

Note: By default of WooCommerce settings, users have to put a number in the General tab of the Product Data section in order for the Add to Cart button to be enabled. This price is not the actual price and won’t be counted into the total.

In addition, it’s possible to customize the suggested price, minimum price and main text for Name Your Price by entering the text in the respective box. To hide these text, simply leave these boxes blank. Everything you need to customize this plugin is straightforward with clear instructions in the settings. To set the general default options for price on the whole site, navigate to admin dashboard > WPClever > Name Your Price.

I like to use this with a simple virtual product type, allowing users to input arbitrary payment amounts for checkout using Woo. I usually use it with customers who do email invoicing following up with payment of that invoice via the site. I can just as easily be used for donations.

This could be a great plugin, but I just found out a MAJOR problem with the "minimum price" and how it can be easily hacked! Using the "Inspector" from the Firefox "Web Developer Tools", one can easily modify the HTML code and change the "minimum value", for example to zero, and proceed to the checkout getting a store item for free! ... If the product is downloadable there is nothing one can do to prevent the final sale, so I had to cancel the use of the plugin for products that I needed the minimum price to be above zero. UPDATE: I found out another even more SERIOUS issue and eventually I had to uninstall the plugin altogether! The "minimum price" can even be set to a negative value(!) by a customer, subtracting from the total value of the cart, and this way making it possible other products with regular prices to be purchased for free! ... and moreover, messing up your whole web store financial balance! These really seem to be very serious flaws of the plugin, or ... I am doing something wrong, and I haven't set some security settings the plugin or Woocommerce has, but I don't think there are any. Any comments from the creators of the plugin about the issues mentioned would be appreciated ...

Great FREE plugin, the only that I found which provides free function which I need. It works perfectly fine even with ajax and mini cart. The only thing is that it lacks some improvements: Setting enabled in main settings turn "Name your price" function in all shop:))) It is not possible to change how price value shows up (for example always in decimals or some other way). It is not possible to add currency symbol after or before input box. In mobile view it is not possible to click and change value with arrows like on desktop. Would be great to have different methods of input for desktop and mobile (mobile - select, desktop - input). Can't put minimum value of 0 and at the same time by default set different value for customer when he opens the product (better chance that they will pay something). Some visual customisation options are not there too. These are only suggestions for improvements. Apart from that plugin does what it needs to do! Good job!

Thank you to the creators of this plugin. I'm starting out and it's very helpful having a free Name Your Price Plug-In. It works and is user-friendly. I love the ability to customize the text for the pricing labels. One small note to potential users, when using this plug-in, you have to set a "Regular Price" within the General section of the product page (I hope that helps and wasn't confusing ).

First up it wasn't very clear that 'Enabling' the plugin within settings would apply the name your price function across my entire store! Setting this to disable allows you to set the function on individual products. Once this is done it is very simple and easy to set up BUT and it's a BIG BUT... setting the minimum price for an item should be 'secret' and it isn't. All a user has to do is keep clicking the price down until it hits your minimum. It should allow any input and if that input is more than the minimum it processes the order. If they enter a price lower than the min return a message. Lose the price up/down arrow it adds no value.
