Descripción

This plugin lets you change the from email address and from email name that appear on emails sent from WordPress. By default the «From Name» on emails sent from WordPress has a name «WordPress» and «From Email» has «wordpress@your-domain.com». You can change both «From Name» and «From Email» using this plugin very easily.

Instalación

From your WordPress dashboard

Visit ‘Plugins > Add New’
Search for ‘WP Change Default From Email’
Activate ‘WP Change Default From Email’ from your Plugins page.

From WordPress.org

Download ‘WP Change Default From Email’.
Upload the ‘wp-change-default-from-email’ directory to your ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory, using your favorite method (ftp, sftp, scp, etc…)
Activate ‘WP Change Default From Email’ from your Plugins page.

Preguntas frecuentes

If mails are going in spam.: To avoid your email being marked as spam, it is highly recommended that your domain name in ‘From Email’ must match with your website, i.e. if your website is example.com then your email must hosted on @example.com.

I had long-term trouble with my WP installations not sending out emails at all. In the end, the problem was in the way WordPress generates the from address in wp_mail. This plugin helped me to sort it out. Big thanks to the author 🎉🎉
