Instalación
La instalación y configuración del plugin es lo más simple posible.
Usando el escritorio de WordPress
- Navega hasta ‘Añadir nuevo’ en el escritorio de plugins
- Busca por ‘woo mailerlite’
- Haz clic en ‘Instalar ahora’
- Activa el plugin en el escritorio de plugins
Subiéndolo en el escritorio de WordPress
- Navega hasta ‘Añadir nuevo’ en el escritorio de plugins
- Navega hasta el área de ‘Subir’
- Elige el archivo zip de tu ordenador
- Haz clic en ‘Instalar ahora’
- Activa el plugin en el escritorio de plugins
Usando FTP
- Descarga el plugin
- Extrae el directorio en tu ordenador
- Sube el directorio al directorio
/wp-content/plugins/ - Activa el plugin en el escritorio de plugins

Be very careful when setting up this plugin and DO NOT just go with the default settings.
The default settings for this plugin, when a subscribe form is used on the checkout page, are as follows:
subscribe checkbox checked by default
subscribe checkbox hidden
no double opt in
Taken together this means that everyone who checks out will be subscribed to your list without their knowledge.
In our case we installed the plugin, connected it, selected a list but had no reason to believe that, without further action, this was enough to put a hidden checkbox on the checkout page. We were in the process of evaluating the product in other ways before making it a decision on using it. It is only when almost 160 sbscribers were suddenly added to an empty list from ... nowhere? ... that we realised what had happened.
This was a major concern as subscribing people this way is illegal under Regulation 13 of the ePrivacy Regulations (SI 336/2011). It is also a significant GDPR issue.

They acknowledged that they have developed a plugin with bugs and malfunctions and it does not do the job 90% of the time. LIKE TURNING OFF AUTOMATIONS randomly for no reason at all. Nevertheless they are not willing to make this plugin work and I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM, since they can only give you HEADACHES!!!

maybe they removed the annoying update notice, I see in changelog. we will see. from one star to three with that change.

Mailerlite is great but useless if you use woocommerce. Automations automatically get turned off because site gets disconnected. Its nearly impossible to get your products to show up in mailerlite without a timeout error.
