Transmission and use of your data

Website Checkups is a SaaS platform that manages on our server all checkups, notifications, statistics, billings and so on. For more details, visit our Terms and Conditions page.

For instance, data entered for monitoring your websites or services is securely transferred to our servers for regular monitoring, reporting and notifications. Company names, addresses, and similar data are used solely for invoicing purposes.

Your data is exclusively used for:

  • Validation and monitoring of online services
  • Presentation of test results
  • Notifications related to your checkups
  • Invoicing and payment processing
  • Notifications about your user account, such as alerts regarding potential deactivation due to extended periods of inactivity

We do not pass on your data in any form (sale, disclosure, rental, transfer or other communication) to third parties who are not involved in the provision of our services. We assure you that your data will never be used for newsletters, sales calls, advertising, marketing, or any similar purposes. For more information, visit our Privacy Policy page.

You control the data you provide. Mandatory fields in our forms are minimized. Deleting data in the WordPress plugin will also delete it from our API. To remove all data from our servers, simply uninstall the Website Checkup Plugin. Paid subscription data (e.g., invoices) will remain in our accounting system only as long as legally required.

Preguntas frecuentes

Why do we offer this service?

The availability and performance of websites and services are crucial for businesses and individuals. While larger companies have IT departments with advanced monitoring tools, smaller companies often lack such resources. Even with server-side monitoring, outages may go unnoticed until reported by customers.

Our service ensures regular checks of your websites, webshops, APIs, and similar services, alerting you promptly during outages. Additionally, you’ll receive detailed availability and performance reports over a selected timeframe.

Why choose Website Checkups?

  • No setup or IT knowledge required
Our monitoring runs entirely from external servers – no installation, no technical setup. Just register, define what you want to monitor, and who should be notified. Done.

  • All-in-one monitoring
From availability and performance to SSL, domain expiry, blacklists, and Google Web Risk—we check it all. Visual reports and flexible timeframes give you full transparency.

  • Free plan included
Start with our forever-free plan and monitor up to 4 services at no cost. No trial limits, no pressure.

  • Scalable, affordable plans
Upgrade anytime with flexible subscriptions starting at just €5/month. Choose your check frequency and billing cycle (monthly to annual).

  • No Unsolicited Marketing
We don’t send newsletters, make sales calls, or push promotions. We believe in letting our service speak for itself – no pressure, no spam.

I’m interested in one of the paid packages, but I’m hesitant to commit to a long term subscription. Will this project be supported in the long run?

Absolutely! This project is backed by elpix GmbH, a German IT company founded in 2003. With over 20 years of experience working with well-known clients, we have built a solid foundation in the IT industry.

Unlike hobby projects developed by individuals, our plugin is a professionally maintained solution. Although we launched our WordPress plugin in February 2025, we are committed to its long-term development, continuous improvements, and dedicated support for our users. For further information please see Impress page.

Try our free plan for as long as you like – no time limits. When you’re ready to upgrade, we offer flexible subscription options: monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual. The longer the plan, the lower your monthly rate.

Is the maximum number of checkups per subscription fixed?

No, the number of checkups is flexible within your chosen subscription. You can select from different usage options and switch between them at any time.

For example, with the Basic subscription (€10 per month), you can perform up to 6 website checkups per hour. Within this limit, you can choose from 7 different checkup intervals — such as one checkup every 10 minutes or two different checkups every 20 minutes, and so on.

This flexibility allows you to customize the checkup frequency based on your needs.

How long does the free subscription last?

The free subscription is valid for one year and renews automatically, as long as the account remains active. You can continue using it indefinitely by keeping at least one check-up active and accessing its results at least once every three months.

What’s the benefit of upgrading to a paid subscription?

Paid plans offer higher checkup frequency, more notification options (Slack, SMS, etc.), and support for more services. Your account and data remain secure regardless of usage—as long as payments are current.
