After installing and activating the plugin, edit or create a post or any other custom post type create you will see a meta box of Templatic Badge, where you can add the badge text and colour if you want.

See screenshot-1 for what this might look like in your add/edit post screen

After you have added badges and colour you will see it after post title wherever you have used the the_title, to show title for a particular post in the front end. See the Post Badges for further Information.

See screenshot-2 image for what this might look like in your post detail page.

Post Badges is yet another free plugin our team created last week for you. This little WordPress plugin helps you show a little post badge after your WordPress post title.
For example, in our Free Directory Theme Resources list, we are showing new tag beside some of the recent posts. Also, there are different use cases for this plugin. For example, you might want to show popular or recommended or trending or any other such relevant tag beside a post title which would help you get the attention of the user and as a result, increase traffic to those particular posts.

What a shame this plugin is not being looked after. It was exactly what my client was looking for. If it had the ability to place the badge below title or other area, perfect. With just a little bit more sophistication.. Could be really good. Installing on WP 5.1.1 using Creativo theme Errors showing up on post headers.

That's simple but very good and usable badge plugin and works properly! With some features - as recently used colors, select background/foreground color, cutomize CSS (in plugin option) and so on - this plugin will be Awesome! Thanks! 🙂

I need badges to high light posts as promoted or sponsered. For me, this plugin works nice when the post is not a quiz or a poll who's results are to be shared by twitter or facebook. Instead of presenting a clean button, part of the scrips "bleeds" through making the facebook / twitter button inrecognizable.

This plugin adds a nice touch to posts that you want to mark as "New" or differentiate from practically any other regular post. I ran into an error elsewhere on the site after installing it though and had to deactivate it, but it was really nice while it lasted. My only suggestions would be to add the "badges" to usernames for sites running BuddyPress and bbPress. It would be nice to be able to use this plugin to display "Admin" or "Moderator" next to a username whenever it appears anywhere on a given WordPress site. Cheers!
